Advanced user of Password BossBecause of the local/installed aspect of this tool, this thing is capable of some pretty amazing things in the realm of auto-fill and form detection.
Form detection in particular is really great, Google Chrome should take notice. Being able to fill in various details that sites typically ask for and have PasswordBoss fill those for you is really cool to see.
Paired with a password storage and auto-fill completion system that you've no doubt seen in many other products makes for an overall great product.
Local software install. I'd say "dislike" is the perfect term. It's not the worst thing, but it does somehow feel very anti-zeitgeist. Everything is moving into the cloud these days.
Again its by no means a bad thing, the application seems to be well written and it allows the platform to do some things that other password tools will continue to struggle with.
The issue is in ease of use. This tool is rightly security-first, and as such it can be rather cumbersome to install and get users trained on. This is barely even a thought for other password management systems because they are all completely website based.
Overall it just makes for more management than other platforms and as such it may not be the right tool for your team depending on who you are selling to/who you have on staff.
PasswordBoss is stellar for small tech savvy teams who 'get it'.
Even larger teams can realize some very smooth password sharing.
By far the most amazing feature is the built-in MFA capability which effectively lets you share MFA tokens - quite the feat and VERY useful with all the major players beginning to follow Microsoft's lead in requiring it. Shared accounts can continue to be utilized with PasswordBoss and that is something that cannot necessarily be said for all accounts with other password management tools.
