What do you like best?

I'm really impressed on how this age old monk has evolved over the time. I got an opportunity to work IBM IMS for 7-8 years. I must brag about it's processing speeds for the High Volume Of Records, Robustness, Impressive scalability, Economically Viable,

Secured environments and No fear of Runtime exceptions. To be honest, I never faced an outage in my service.

What do you dislike?

There is a scope of improvement in the areas like user friendly GUI and in creating user manuals that imparts issue resolution and knowledge on the fly. It's an hard nut for a new learners.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have used it for one of the largest insurance provider. And, There was a need for storing and retrieving huge chunks of data and printing millions of documents on daily basis. We have leveraged IMS that worked seamlessly. It is an absolute pleasure in terms of robustness, efficiency, Security, scalability and performance.
