What do you like best?

The ability to have multiple pollers in my environment and separate the nodes to each poller so I can set a default poling rate. I also like to setup pollers in the region that they are polling things so that they can get more accurate response times on the devices they are polling in that region. This works great in my Network Automation Manager setup so I get accurate response times from my LTE towers across the country.

What do you dislike?

i do not like that i cannot poll stuff with my Server Application Monitor with my Network Automation Manager setup pollers. I would have to purchase additional polling engine for my Server Application Monitor instance and then it would be able to poll the applications on that 1 extra poller.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Great if you have a lot of elements to monitor so your polling response time doesn't take a hit. Also allows the monitoring of across the country or world and will allow you to stand up a polling engine to monitor devices in that area to give accurate response times.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to separate our customer equipment from our corporate equipment and setup default polling rates on that poller so that all new devices being monitored on that poller are setup the same way. We also have been able to setup for polling by region so that when we are monitoring something in another part of the country that would normally go through our VPN tunnel, we do not get inaccurate data such as high response times or packet loss if there is an issue on the route our vpn tunnel takes to connect to that server.
