Html Tidy

What do you like best?

This utility does exactly what it says on the tin: it formats HTML in a somewhat more legible way. In addition to basic formatting, the system appears to fix and replace malformed HTML where it is reasonable to do so.

What do you dislike?

This is a utility that probably will not be needed for a professional or anyone working in a capable development environment. Many free text editors offer free plugins to perform the same duties as this utility and even more offer realtime tag completion.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are using Sublime Text or an IDE, install a plugin to complete the requested operation so that:

1. you are not accidentally submitting code across the wild-west of the internet

2. you are not context-switching to perform a rudimentary operation

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Occasionally, I will copy HTML from other resources online and implement them in my own applications. Often, this code will not align with my conventions and I will seek a utility to clean it up. HTML Tidy performs rudimentary code formatting which I would prefer not to complete by hand.
