Microsoft Authenticator

What do you like best?

Ease of use.

Straightforward and lean app.

I especially like the feature that allows me to manage all my different Microsoft accounts in one app - As I am user of Microsoft products on a personal level as well as a professional level, I constantly have to assess both my personal and professional accounts on a daily basis.

Furthermore, I also manage the Office365 credentials for my organization, thus logging into the Office365 admin account from the authenticator makes my job super straightforwar and convenient.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing generally that I dislike with Microsoft Authenticator at the moment.

I do wish that there were extra features:

1. I would like the ability to be able to check login and geographical activity of my Office365 admin account as well as my work assigned account.

2. I would like to be able to have the ability to have more than one account with the ability of phone signin and authentication.

The 2nd point would make my use of Microsoft Authenticator MUCH more convenient.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Use it!

I generally have had no issues with the app, other than the extra benefits and features I have requested for above.

If one is using an Office365 account for authentication, be sure to add only the one that you are logging into frequently, as the authenticator only allows you to have one account using phone login at a time.

My other recommendation, if you have multiple accounts, is to use a spare phone if you intend to sign in to your different Microsoft accounts daily.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am using it as a secure login for the multiple Microsoft accounts I have - Windows on several devices and Office365 on several devices.

Because I have personal accounts and business accounts, it is easy to separate my authentication needs.

I am the administrator of my office group Office365 account, so this helps me organize everything efficiently.

As a user with multiple Microsoft accounts as well as authentication needs, there are several features that could significantly improve my user experience.
