Great tool for startups to get in and set up quick and efficient engagement

What do you like best?

I like that this tool is easy to use compared to some other contact automation tools, pricing that is both reasonable and rational, and it is easy to use and set up.

The visual tool for creating campaigns and contacts is intuitive and easy to learn. We trained an entry-level team member on the platform and they quickly adopted the tool and has since taken over all of our campaigns.

What do you dislike?

When you set up campaigns, if you deprecate them the data and metrics for that campaign are lost or are not easily accessible. We've ended up just pausing campaigns to retain that insight - but we've some things from two years ago that are paused. It would be great to archive that data.

It would also be great to have better reporting, in general, to help report metrics and insights to those who do not use the platform directly.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are an early-stage company that hasn't started anything yet, def check them out as their pricing is perfect for startups.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed to onboard a quick solution that was priced reasonably for startups to engage with our customers and leads. We've increased both engagement/retention and acquisition through engagement campaigns.

I always recommend this tool for early-stage companies - and really more mature companies - who are looking to set up their initial engagement campaigns. Customer.io is better than most of the larger, and more expensive tools, and setting up something is better than having nothing. This was emblematic with my current company as we instantly saw a reduction in churn and inactivity on our platform.
