Deep insights and responsive support team.

What do you like best?

All of the basic elements of an email sending platform are executed very well here (segmenting, email builder, etc), nothing groundbreaking here.

The ability to add custom behaviors is fantastic - it has allowed us to create specific browse abandonment campaigns (by product type, and customer behavior).

Zaius also offers great attribution reporting (with custom modeling), though it is a bit difficult to get started with and working with support was helpful here. We have been using this to validate against Google Analytics (and use different models than last click), and we have much more control over this than the black box of GA.

The addition of the recommended products API is very nice, we are using this now on our site to better recommend products to our customers based on their profile in Zaius.

In general, the API is also great.

The email builder supports CURL functionality, which has helped us extend and improve the functionality of our email campaigns.

What do you dislike?

Some custom behaviors/complicated segmenting can be difficult to configure - but I have found that the support team can help explain and configure what I cannot figure out on my own.

The javascript integration could be more streamlined as we find that it is a bit weighty in Google Lighthouse testing.

If you have multiple accounts (eg, a US site and International site), copying campaigns around can be somewhat tedious (but is worth it in the end).
