What do you like best?

Here is how my firm does it: the IT department set up time code for each project and we only need to pick from the drop down menu to record our time to each project. And of course the project names are key work searchable. So I found this to be helpful to the firm to standardize and unify time codes, which will in turn makes it easier for the firm to analyze the time data. There is timer function to help you track time if you know you will not be sidetracked.

What do you dislike?

Not dislike, but it could be helpful if employees could run some charts to visualize and analyze our time and maybe compare the actual to budget. I'm sure the firm can do all the analyses through Practice Engine, but sometimes employees want to see how we are doing too and would like to dig further in our time. But full disclosure, it could be my firm did not purchase the module or I didn't explore the software enough.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I have not been on the firm's position to look at all the time data collected, but I'm sure PE provides a handy way to analyze employees' time, which can be very helpful to service providing firms such as accounting and law firms.
