Clio is useful for trust accounting.
What do you like best?
I like being able to enter time on my computer and from my phone via the Clio app. I also like having clients' contact information available. It does do a good job with my trust accounting. The reports are fairly easy to use.
What do you dislike?
Clio does not have the ability to do your regular bookkeeping. I wish it had all of the capabilities of a regular accounting software package. It is not the most intuitive layout. The software touts its ability to sync with Quickbooks, however, it really didn't do that very well. It was glitchy and counted some deposits twice. I had to unlink the two sets of software.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I use Clio to enter my time spent on cases, bill clients, and keep track of trust funds. It is tailored for law firms which is great since most other accounting software really doesn't have these functions.
