Best Case Management Software on the Market
What do you like best?
The customization tool on Filevine is one of my favorite aspects to the software. While Filevine has a number of templates to enable firms to be plug & play, one can customize any aspect to ensure that the cases are managed to the particulars of each firm and provides the ability to pull reports to make management more efficient & productive. In addition, one can give access (from limited to full) to anyone, including clients & co-counsel, to make working together easier. I have never seen any product do as many updates and innovations as Filevine. They are always striving to be better and improving the product year after year. They have webinars & an annual conference to make sure clients are working to their full potential. Their support staff is extremely knowledgeable and patient, ensuring that all clients can easily & quickly get an issue resolved or explained.
What do you dislike?
There is very little to dislike about Filevine. While older clients may have found inadequate templates for certain litigations, Filevine hired firm employees to design templates that would be more useful to their clients. Filevine allows texting through their files, but there is nowhere to have templates to make it more press & play. However, as the company is constantly improving, I would imagine this would be an option in the future. While not all aspects of the system are perfect, Filevine really listens to their clients and makes an effort to improve those aspects that are deficient. Almost everything that I "disliked" or found lacking, has either been included now or is scheduled in the near future.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Filevine allows firms to have easier access with clients, through texting and email, as well as giving client access to portions of their file if warranted, which makes firms more efficient because they are spending less time updating their clients. Being able to organize and work so much in the system has allowed us to be truly paperless. It also allows me to run random reports for our investors (or my partners) that can be customized to include whatever information they desire, regardless of how obscure the information.
