Advanced user of Headroom.JsIt's free, it's tiny and it has no dependencies so I can use it in plain Javascript when I don't need to include jQuery in a one-page website or a landing page. It does just that: scrolls a fixed header (when I usually have the website logo and the main navigation links) out of the way when scrolling, and slides it back in when scrolling upwards.
There's really nothing to dislike here with Headroom.Js: it's free, tiny, very well thought off and can be used in a plain Javascript flavour or with various JS frameworks such as jQuery/Zepto, React, Angular, etc.
If you are dealing with mobile web development, chances are you will have the need to save the most space possible to maximise content, and Headroom JS helps you do this in a very straightforward way.
It allows the web designer to retrieve that little space that is especially precious when dealing with portrait oriented portable devices. It does just that, but does it well.
