Advanced user of dataloader.ioDataloader is my go to when it comes to taking a large amount of data and exporting or importing from Salesforce. It is also exceptional and letting me make a mass update or fix to data I might have already entered.
My only complaint is that any changes you make typically means that you need to restart the whole program and go through the process of logging in again to make sure the new changes are available.
It's easy to learn and easy to use. Very helpful with a great many Admin needs.
I use Dataloader to update, or to export information from Salesforce. This is great when the details of a particular field need updated in mass. A few minutes tweaking the data in a CV file, and you can update in one fell swoop with Dataloader.
