What do you like best?

-Encrypts users disks remotely without any interaction, using ePolicy Orchestrator console.

-Integration with Active Directory credentials, easy to remember for most users.

-Compatibility with native encryption (Windows and Mac users). Works on BitLocker as expected.

-Reports available on the ePolicy Orchestrator console helps our IT department to ensure that all the devices are up to date and secure.

-Restore procedures works without any issue, this ensures the data on any device.

-Management Native Encryption on ePolicy Orchestrator allows IT departments to use a single console for security.

What do you dislike?

-Compatibility with USB stick devices, sometimes it fails and affects saved data.

-Upgrade process between different versions may be difficult and required an experienced partner to successfully achieve the process without issues.

-Some users don't like this additional security on his devices, maybe if the software interface is less intrusion it would be easy to deploy.

-The best practices on USB ports are cellphone connections blocked, sometimes users want to charge his phone but our security department doesn't allow that.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Less intrusive interface

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Trying to secure our organization's data on transit it was difficult. During this pandemic everyone it's working from home and needs to ensure that if any device is missing don't lose data.

On the other hand, sometimes it's difficult to secure possible internal gaps. With Data Protection our IT department doesn't have any important data that could be sold on the black market. Using Data Loss Prevention prevents unauthorized user to connect some devices to our network.
