What do you like best?
Project collaboration significantly improved with users having access to the information they need.
Secure storage which is easily accessible for all users including site based managers.
Accountability and tracking of information.
Contractual processes improved - ensures we meet deadlines and receive payment in line with contract terms and conditions.
Tendering process improved ensuring all suppliers have access to the relevant information and there is an audit trail of discussions and correspondence
We have stopped losing information - nothing is stored on laptops, deleted by mistake or left in an Outlook folder which others cannot access.
What do you dislike?
Implementation and change within the organisation takes time. Not a fault of the software but adequate time needs to be allowed for training and ensuring people are happy using the software.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Information storage - a basic requirement but everything related to a project is now stored centrally. There is no duplication of information or information being lost. This alone has probably paid for the software as we can substantiate all costs, contract variations, application submissions etc.
Collaboration - site based users are accessing the information relevant to their project. Remote users can easily access all documentation and work from anywhere. This has been invaluable during the pandemic as we were able to easily switch to remote/home working with no disruption to our business.
Contract Processes - the different contract requirements are controlled more effectively with deadlines met for submissions to ensure we comply with the relevant terms.
Snagging and Defects - centrally controlled and monitored through the mobile app ensures we are handing projects over defect free.
