Ketch is a data control platform that enables organizations to comply with data privacy laws and enforce data governance policies easily. Unlike other vendors that take a regulation-based approach, Ketch takes a data-first approach, enabling organizations to:

– Control personal data at its most granular level
– Manage all regulations with the same framework
– Automate consent management and orchestration
– Fulfill DSR Requests with no human intervention

When an organizations can maintain total control of their data, defining who can use it and how it can be used, no matter where it resides, meeting individual data privacy laws or internal/external data governance policies becomes easy.

Organizations that adopt the Ketch Data Control Platform see:

– Better, and potentially more, data insights due to the granular data control as compared to other solutions
– Faster implementation of new and updated data privacy laws and governance policies with the Ketch unified framework
– Significant compliance violation risk reduction due to the automated orchestration of consent and rights signals to all internal and external parties
– Improved team efficiency with Ketch automatically responding to DSR requests.

With Ketch, a business can use data to compete AND respect data privacy laws and
policies.

Ketch is perfect for startups who need an API solution for marketing and privacy consent management

What do you like best?

Ketch came up with an API solution in the privacy and marketing space that no other companies were ready with last year - an easily configurable consent management and orchestration system that was able to be deployed internationally.

As a startup, we were beginning to market our products into other countries but didn't have a proper solution for cookie, marketing, and other consent management built into our product flow. Our engineering team was already tapped with so many things to do and didn't have bandwidth to add this, too. The Ketch solution required minimal engineering time to be integrated into our system.

What do you dislike?

I don't really dislike anything. It takes a little bit of thought from the legal or privacy team beforehand for a successful integration, but any startup that has the desire to integrate Ketch can do it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There is a patchwork of international laws, where some laws require opt-in consent to marketing, others laws require opt-out consent, and then there are cookie laws which need express opt-in in certain jurisdictions. Ketch helps us with orchestrating our consent management to comply with all these laws, and helps orchestrate consent at all the end points where we might send servicing and marketing emails to customers. It also helps us store those consents, and it also has a preconfigured system for laws in the EU, laws in the USA, or elsewhere, which you can use as a default, or you can override the default if you choose to take a different path or if the laws happen to change.

The other problem we are solving with Ketch is that our engineering team didn't have to create an in-product consent management solution which saved us thousands of hours of time - we were able to rely on an API that sits on top of our code and helps us do what we need. Our engineering team could have potentially added an in-product consent management solution, but it was too difficult to do that and also do all the myriad things they have to do to keep our platform up and running. Also, with Ketch, as new laws arise, I can easily deal with them in an API format, versus having to change my product flow.

The other wonderful thing about Ketch is that as laws change, we can easily change the configuration in the API to help us adapt to the change in laws.
