Frequent Crashes; Not User Friendly
What do you like best?
Faronics Insight DOES allow monitoring of student computers and the ability to remotely control their devices. The ability to see their screens is helpful, as well as being able to open or close programs for them and share my own screen.
What do you dislike?
Faronics Insight has a serious learning curve, frequently crashes, and runs off of an installed software (meaning every device HAS to have it installed in order for it to function). Class lists have to be edited and re-saved in order to add any student to the monitoring. Class monitoring can't be scheduled and has to be manually started for each class period every day.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Behavior and on-task management of students during the digital age of teaching is easier.
