PayPal Invoicing - Great for Invoices!
What do you like best?
What I like best about PayPal Invoicing is the fact that they don't take a ridiculous percentage of your profit like most other applications. You can deal with customer transactions quickly and effortlessly. You can write your own terms of services and refund policies. It is all handled by your PayPal account so payments are easy to receive and manage. It is very simple to keep track of transactions and to keep everything organized. Which is especially helpful during tax time.
What do you dislike?
The only thing that I could say I dislike about PayPal Invoicing is that your clients have to have a bit more trust in you. There are other platforms that have guarantees, and other platforms that are better at preventing fraud. With PayPal Invoices you can write your own terms of service, but there still comes a time where someone either has to send the product first, or send the cash first, which requires extra trust from one party or the other. However, you can file fraudulent claims, should anything suspicious occur. There are other sites that handle transactions of digital goods, but they take a much larger percentage from everyone.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
PayPal Invoicing is the cheapest solution that I have found and the most helpful when selling digital goods.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
As stated above, PayPal Invoicing helps you manage transactions and keep track of sales or purchases via your PayPal account. It is beneficial in that it is quick and easy to bill a customer, even with payment options and a receipt, if they choose. My company develops video games, and occasionally I develop and sell characters and other virtual things for my clients. I can select the e-mail address or PayPal account of my client, I can write up all the work I've done and charge either per hour or per service. It is a full sales system essentially.
