What do you like best?

As SCOM is supporting PowerShell scripting so we can write different automation to restart the services or collect data from different windows agents.

Very user-friendly User interface where we can collect heartbeat information, performance information in a single window

What do you dislike?

It consumes more SQL database space to store the monitoring and event information. To get rid of this old information we have to write SQL jobs which is a burden on the developers.

I would like to recommend this service if you are concerned about the uptime of your systems as well as want to monitor your systems continuously and receive instant alerts about your systems

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With the help of SCOM system outages are avoided , increasing the uptime of the system.

SCOM performance report provides precise decisions on which servers to remove or which server needs to be monitored.
