VMware Cloud Foundation an awesome hybrid cloud platform
What do you like best?
It is an integrated software stack that uses SDDC Manager an automated lifecycle management tool to bundle compute vSphere and storage VMware vSAN and network virtualization NSX into a single platform that can be deployed on premises as a private cloud or run as a service within a public cloud.
What do you dislike?
The models, flexibility, and management of VMware are limited.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For enterprise companies and huge data centers, you need a new cloud for each system. It's not acceptable so we try to work with everything centralized on-premises. Telecommunication companies must have a cloud solution and on-premises. For everyday work, they will want to implement virtual machines. To maintain all those systems they need to have centralized management. A huge company must have these products. But it will be very costly for a small company or medium enterprise company. The complexity depends on the size of the company. You need to enhance the workflows.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
VMware Cloud Foundation a full-stack Hyperconverged Infrastructure solution, which reduced complexity, risk, and cost while also improving performance. VMware Cloud Foundation is less expensive than other solutions and at the same time, it removed a lot of the administrative burden on us by being able to update and maintain a lot of these things that we would otherwise have to do.
