SolidWorks eDrawings Reviews

Best open source tool out there for 2D and 3D CAD viewing/sharing to implement

What do you like best?

It is extremely simple to use, I have also used it many times to review my own designs as it utilizes much less RAM and processing, it works much quicker than Solidworks.

The sharing of drawings for manufacturing becomes easier as it supports a wide range of formats, is open source and does not require a high-end computer.

My suppliers can use it easily as it is very easy to use and makes it simpler to understand the drawings and implement them for manufacturing using its various features.

What do you dislike?

I have been using this since I started using SolidWorks and haven't faced any issues yet; It has only helped me.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would recommend it instead of AutoCAD if you only need to review the drawings, CAD models and not modify/edit them.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have used it for viewing drawings, 3D CAD files, reviewing my designs, presenting the CAD ideas to customers, and sharing the drawings/CAD (IGES) with the vendors.
