A solution that takes IT Management to whole another level

What do you like best?

It has every type of solution required or an enterprise to operate. From the simplest task of raising a request item to get a hold of information from some team to raising a whole change request that manages what goes into production. The best part of ServiceNow for me is its Configuration Item setup.One can get in-depth information about an application/server/database etc from a single piece of unique code called Configuration Item.

It also has KDB Articles (Knowledge Database Articles) that helps understanding a process within ServiceNow.

What do you dislike?

The only thing that I think ServiceNow can work upon is its Reporting tool. It lacks advanced filters as group conditional formatting and has very limited data visualization schemes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would recommend you to request a demo from the ServiceNow team and you will find that they have a lot to offer to make your business go smoother and hassle free. The sheer amount of solutions offered by the software can make Enterprise management a lot easier. The DOC escalation feature can help you escalate an issue to ServiceNow team which is capable of finding the right team in the shortest amount of time to mitigate the impact on the business.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using to do incident management, request information processing and change management. We also use it do compliance management. Reports are helping us in getting a bigger view of the whole picture of what's going on in the organization and see a forecast a pattern to be precautious about any incident that might adversely impact the business.
