Advanced user of SAP HEC (HANA Enterprise Cloud)HEC is fundamentally an In memory database, which is perfect for many analytical workloads and use cases. The performance is excellent and the DB comes with multiple other features such as Predictive analytics, Fuzzy search, etc.
The pricing is steep. Maintenance is not very intensive but still requires to be done with careful planning. Configuration options are not entirely code-based.
SDK support is minimal but improving fastly
Great tool for fast analytics, Integration with other SAP based tools like Analytics Cloud, Lumira and BIBO tools. Great set of extension tools like Fuzzy search, odata, internal server (XSA), different view types.
Standard applications for extending SAP ERP, analytics on the database. The performance benefits are very obvious. The in-memory views yield results in milliseconds even for large tables.
