Great System for Competitive Market Research

What do you like best?

Easy to use. You can easily compare different industries, locations, and company sizes for single or multiple roles simultaneously. Salary.com is excellent when you have employees in various locations or roles that crossover between sectors.

There are also tons of competencies that you can use to adjust your role in Salary.com to ensure it matches the position within your organization precisely. This helps provide an accurate compensation suggestion. Salary.com has the option to save adjusted jobs and categorize them, so you can always go back and review the roles that you did salary reviews for previously, which helps with niche roles or roles specific to your organization.

Lastly, it is quick and simple to share salary reports with the team. You can send via email or download as a report and share as you see fit.

What do you dislike?

The system doesn't always have data on specific niche positions, which can be challenging. Although you don't always receive data for niche roles, with your Salary.com membership, the customer support team provides 3 extra roles that they can find details for.

I also find that sometimes the system's responsiveness is slow or times out when I am trying to pull information which can be a challenge. However, this may be due to the browser.

I would highly recommend using this system. We looked into other similar methods and were recommended to Salary.com, and we are thrilled with our decision! The system is cost-effective, organized, easy to use, quick to learn, and great to provide the best data to your stakeholders.

This system makes it easy for us to determine an appropriate, competitive market salary based on our company size, the role, the candidate's experience, and our industry. Salary.com provides salaries at all percentiles within the market, as well as any additional bonus plans that would be applicable to the role.

Salary.com provides concrete data for employees and managers to show how we are paying in comparison to the market. It is a reputable system that uses reputable market data to provide accurate salaries.

The job description section is a section that we are hoping to try out in the near future. Being able to have all job descriptions and salaries in one place is extremely convenient and makes it easy for a growing company.
