Advanced user of Sage Intacct
Not great with Excel or external programs like Certify, Sisense.

What do you like best?

The income statements and Balance Sheets are great. At my old company, we didn't have Intacct and we would have a more timely process to update the financials and send them out. Intacct helps with that.

What do you dislike?

Doesn't work as well with outside programs. I can't add as much to the transaction details as we would like. We would like Intacct to do more with outside programs like Sisense and Certify. It can be restrictive at times. It takes a bit of time to get familiar with the reporting and dashboarding capabilities but overall its not the worst. . Some reports are great but some of them aren't as friendly. There are so many dimensions that exist in this software that you cannot run a report on. Intacct is also not the best with managing cash flow so we use excel still for that. The GL pulls you can't dig into live. I would also like a feature to be added to show simplified income statements and balance sheets so that we don't have to put it into excel to calculate. The bill register and grant sections of Intacct aren't up to par. There also seems to be a fair amount of glitches and errors. I also can't seem to save my GL pulls so that next time I can pull them faster without reentering all the report details and requirements. I also don't like how it logs you out often and freezes from time to time and makes you start over with reports.
