What do you like best?
Being able to customise Preactor to match our production constraints and react quickly to changes in the factory relating to product mix, operator efficiency or machine availability.
What do you dislike?
Preactor focuses on today looking forwards which is natural as a capacity planning tool but looking at historic data can be difficult at times.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan your implementation carefully and allow double the time you think to make it work correctly. This is not a criticism of Preactor just my experience and the best way to get Preactor to work for you.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Scheduling of two factories in a fast moving company with short lead times and a basket of goods that we need to organise into the most efficient schedule possible, based on size, run speed, delivery location to maximise lorry space and a multitude on other paramaters.
