Surprisingly powerful, but very outdated

What do you like best?

Lotus Notes is super powerful and has a lot of functionality. Even though it is old-school and has a bad reputation, it has many features including database storage, mail, and chat.

What do you dislike?

The interface is very outdated, so there can be a bit of a learning curve if you are used to more modern technology. There are also definitely some quirks to the databases. For example, new entries cannot be accessed for 20 min by other users.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were initially using Lotus notes for chat, email, and several databases. We have since migrated to Outlook and Teams for email and chat and are now only using it for databases.
