Not satisfied with ImagineTime

What do you like best?

I purchased ImagineTime because I am a small firm in Columbia, SC, I liked the interface, what the program offered, and the fact that it was located across the border in North Carolina, just right up the road.

The QB Integration, User Interface, Value Pricing, and small business feel is what drew me to this company, as well as the on-line reviews.

What do you dislike?

If you want Support, you have to leave a message. But, you will learn that if you want to get someone on the phone, the same people that offer support, just press one for Sales, and you will get someone EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Also, the new model is revenue-driven and clearly not customer/client-driven. We have the Desktop, Non-cloud version of the software. Since we are not paying $600/month, we don't get the support we used to get, and we don't get issues resolved with our software. We have multiple issues with our database that have been "hanging" out there for more than one year, unresolved.

Last year, during the Pandemic, I was told that if I didn't pay my support invoice on time, I would be switched to a Monthly Fee, based on users, going from $675 a year to $3,600/year in support costs.

We are here again, another year later, with an invoice for Annual Maintenance and no phone calls, e-mails, or responses for any support.

It's really sad that a software company that supposedly supports small firms has taken this type of attitude towards their existing customers.

The software is a good software, but, the support, which appears to be driven from the top, is lackluster at best. The technicians are great, and the employees offering the support truly do care, but, they are not allowed, it appears, to offer the support that is needed.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are willing to pay the Cloud-based fees, ImagineTime will be good for you.

If you want a Desktop version of software supported by the company, it's hit and miss.

Employees offering support are AWESOME! Company doesn't allow or provide enough resources to have adequate support of Desktop products, and, doesn't seem interested in keeping these as an ongoing customer.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ImagineTime helped integrate multiple entries into one area, and is good for a fully integrated solution.
