What do you like best?

The Google Merchant Center offers a base to promote your products across the Google forest. Once you set your profile, details, and catalog, you can start using Free or paid tools to promote your products and services. It also has an easy-going way to see the data you have. Also, it can integrate with Google Ads and Analytics, which provide more data to your business. The Merchant Center account is free, and it helps you to organize and submit in-stock product inventory which is useful when you create Ads. Like with many other Google options you can easily link with other tools.

What do you dislike?

I felt like the approval process is tricky; you have to follow some steps, but it-s not completely clear initially; although it is not impossible, I feel like there is an improvement point. There has been a bunch of updates, and it-s necessary to learn the system again.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I think the most data you can have from customers and analytics is the better.

Even this tool is not that famous, and I think it's important to keep an eye on it.

Also, if you use Shopify, Ecwod, or some other store tools, it has integration to create and maintains your products catalog.

Ensure you have all your data and separate at least two hours to the initial setup.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're centralizing all the products and brand information to offer them across the Google Surfaces. Here we were able to establish the brand details, catalog, shipping policies, taxes, and business information. The fact of reviewing your products helps you to maintain your inventory clean.
