Advanced user of DataCADIt's ease of use and customization have made it really user friendly. The programming team always is willing to help and listen to customer feedback and suggestions.
The rendering and 3D modeling aspects of the program have lagged behind industry & client expectations.
If you are looking for software to produce quality construction documents, it's hard to beat Datacad's value. If looking for 3D rendering and modeling I would look somewhere else.
I focus on custom and higher end residential home design and Datacad has helped me create clear and consise documents to get the plans approved by local building jurisdictions.
