Azure Blockchain Workbench Reviews

A great platform to test and build preproduction blockchain apps.

What do you like best?

The most exciting feature of Microsoft Azure workbench is that it lets you test your apps before deployment and the integration is just the tip of the iceberg. Azure Workbench has multiple integrations that, one can integrate into their app and test in the pre-built network architecture of Azure. They also support easy integration and extensions to cloud platform. We can easily connect and integrate blockchain to our business through azure blockchain workbench by using their REST API feature which is awesome.

What do you dislike?

Azure blockchain workbench is great for public blockchain workspace but for private work, it gets a bit tricky, in some instances I have faced Error in creating hyperledger fabric channels with only orderer organization, and sometimes I was not able to connect to Azure Blockchain workbench APIs.

Azure Blockchain Workbench cloud shell command doesn't work on for free accounts which is a bummer.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try it for yourself and your apps so that you can test their services but for my recommendations, I would say go for it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Simply we are eliminating the risk from the developmental phases of our apps and its easy to create, test and pre-deploy within the Azure blockchain network for pre-production testing which may lead us to find any problems, any vulnerabilities, or bugs.
