What do you like best?
Ease of using and setup. We can get up and running in 1-2 days for a simple use case. Building on that is simple and straightforward.
Good admin UI to watch the system metrics and delta indexing process which runs at a preset interval.
What do you dislike?
There is nothing specific that I don't like about Solr.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1. Quick learning curve
2. Easy to code on the client-side.
3. Easy to set up and can be up and running in 1-2 days for simple use cases.
4. Its open source and free to use.
